Key Responsibilities:- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of water treatment and wastewater treatment facility construction projects.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and work plans, ensuring projects stay on track and meet key milestones.
- Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and requirements are fully understood and met.
- Manage all project resources, including subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring efficient use to maintain cost control.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any challenges, and ensure that construction activities comply with quality and safety standards.
- Oversee project documentation, ensuring all contracts, permits, and regulatory approvals are in place.
- Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, budget status, and potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and company safety policies.
- Proactively address any changes in project scope, timelines, or budget, resolving issues and adjusting plans as necessary.
- Lead project meetings with internal teams and clients, documenting key decisions and actions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in ICI, industrial, or civil construction, particularly in water treatment or wastewater treatment facility projects.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods, especially in ICI and civil sectors.
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, and project scheduling.
- Familiarity with provincial safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.
- Proficient in project management software, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
