Our Opportunity

The Manager, Construction, Firehouse Subs Canada West is a critical role that supports planned store openings each year for the Firehouse Subs brand in the Canada West region.

  1. Coordinate new store development and remodels with Area Franchise Leads, Divisional Development Leads, and Company Restaurant partners.
  2. Direct all phases of construction project management, including due diligence, schedule and budget development, planning and design, FF&E procurement, and store move coordination.
  3. Ensure adherence to approved project budgets and schedules, as well as regional and national construction and operational standards.
  4. Partner with Design and Regional Construction team to improve construction processes and contribute to the growth and development of the region.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent construction experience.
  2. 7+ years of relevant construction experience; QSR or Casual Dining Restaurant experience preferred.
  3. Experience preparing construction budgets and tracking to actual costs.
  4. Familiarity with store equipment package, planning, and operations.
  5. Proficient in computer estimating, scheduling, and database applications.
  6. Ability to effectively organize and handle multiple projects under pressure simultaneously.
