ROLE SUMMARY

The Service Leader is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by maintaining safe and quality food preparation and service. This involves training and supervising the restaurant crew to provide excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, organized line with properly functioning equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served
  • Support food safety by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature on the line, secondary shelf lives, and following Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures
  • Help resolve customer incidents and work to ensure positive customer experiences
  • Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
  • Develop and cross-train front of house crew
  • Assist with crew performance reviews
  • Develop future Service Leaders
  • Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork

REQUIREMENTS

  • Chipotle Crew member and/or Kitchen Leader experience
  • Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
  • Familiarity with office paperwork
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • High school diploma
  • Restaurant experience
