Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Exhibition Planning and Management Specialist to join our team at Calgary Exhibition and Stampede Limited. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for planning and executing various exhibitions and events, ensuring their success and profitability.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

About the Job

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including trade shows, conferences, and community events. You will be responsible for developing risk management plans, preparing and presenting budgets, reviewing bids, and negotiating costs.

You will also assist in budget preparation, plan and arrange for trade shows and exhibits, and supervise office and volunteer staff. Additionally, you will perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting, and coordinate competitive programs.

Your area of specialization will be trade fairs and exhibitions, and you will have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, including exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in this field, excellent leadership skills, and a valid driver's license. They will also be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
