We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at MaintainX Inc. in the United States or Canada.

About Us

MaintainX is a cutting-edge mobile-first workflow management platform designed for industrial and frontline workers. Our innovative solution provides a modern IoT-enabled cloud-based tool for maintenance, safety, and operations on equipment and facilities.

We have received significant funding from reputable venture capital firms, including Bain Capital Ventures, Bessemer Ventures, August Capital, Amity Ventures, Ridge Ventures, and prominent CEOs from GE, Twilio, Toast, and PagerDuty.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of sales efforts within a defined market. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for closing new accounts and consistently meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

You will work closely with one of our Sales Managers for the Emerging team to achieve difference-making results.

  • New Logo Sales: Close new accounts and meet sales targets.
  • Prospecting: Contribute to your own pipeline through self-outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Lead Conversion: Nurture leads from the sales cycle to close.
  • Forecast: Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales with +/- 15% accuracy.
  • Organize: Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including new leads, demos, proposals, follow-ups, and more.
  • Systems: Master the use of sales technology, such as Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and others.
  • Getting Better Every Day: Embrace ongoing coaching and constructive criticism to improve performance.
  • Startup Mentality: Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to grind it out to build something new.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • B2B sales experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of total sales experience in a closing role.
  • The ability to articulate metrics and data.
  • A willingness to prospect and contribute to your own pipeline.
  • Positive, passionate, creative, smart, and high-character personality traits.

Prior experience with modern sales tech stacks, startups, entrepreneurial organizations, CMMS, facility operations software, and remote working can be beneficial but is not required.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on location and experience, plus benefits, including healthcare, dental, and vision coverage.
