Event Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team at Fun Park Grande Prairie Inc. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for planning and executing events that exceed our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Site Selection and Management: Inspect and select sites that meet our event requirements, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
- Marketing and Communication: Develop and implement marketing and communication plans to promote our events and engage with our target audience.
- Media and Public Relations: Develop media strategies and public relations activities to increase brand awareness and drive event attendance.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Prepare, present, and manage budgets for events, ensuring we stay within our financial constraints.
- Logistics and Operations: Plan and arrange for accommodation and transportation services, as well as research and design special events programs.
- VIP and Social Events: Plan for VIP arrangements and social events, ensuring a personalized experience for our guests.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software and technologies.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- 2 years of experience in event planning or a related field.
- Permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.
- Fluency in English.
