About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team at MJS Logistics Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our truck drivers, ensuring they are equipped to meet the demands of the job.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize our logistics operations.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our truck drivers.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our drivers are aware of and adhere to these regulations.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, training, and disciplinary measures, as needed.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate the requisition and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies to support our logistics operations.

  • Accessibility: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Youth and Mature Workers: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and mature workers.
  • Indigenous Peoples: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
