Position Summary
We're seeking an experienced Conversion Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our System Conversions team, you'll be responsible for the successful go-live of our clients' payroll and benefits systems. You'll communicate directly with clients, coordinate internal resources, and use your analytical skills to research and resolve any issues that arise during the conversion process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Manage client interactions, including setting expectations, providing training, processing payrolls, and resolving issues.
  2. Partner with internal teams to ensure system requirements are met and provide input on unique client complexities.
  3. Familiarize yourself with current client designs in prior systems to ensure the new system meets client needs.
  4. Assist clients with initial payroll processing on the new system and provide system-level training.
  5. Monitor email communications and provide accurate updates on client conversion status.
  6. Track outstanding client-level issues and ensure resolution.
  7. Participate in process improvement initiatives and document identified issues.
  8. Accountability for an assigned grouping of clients and successfully manage their conversion to go-live process.
  9. Participate in analysis gathering sessions and interact with other departments and clients as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  1. Excel knowledge and ability to manage multiple projects.
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
  3. Strong organization skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and experience administering or processing benefits, payroll, or tax.
  6. Embraces changes and contributes to new initiatives.
  7. Ability to meet deadlines for multiple concurrent projects.
  8. Excellent client-facing skills, including de-escalation.
  9. Ability to build and manage relationships in a cross-functional environment.

Education & Experience
  1. year payroll processing or benefits administration experience required.
  2. Previous tax experience preferred.
  3. Payroll experience preferred.
  4. Intermediate to strong skills in Excel.
  5. Prior experience in a system conversion or implementation department preferred.
  6. Experience with payroll software/applications preferred.
  7. Proficient with MS Office suite.
  8. Ability to type WPM.
