About the Position:
- Job Summary: As a Corporate Services Clerk, you will be responsible for managing annual filings, name reservations, due diligence support, records management, and communication with clients.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Maintenance: Manage annual filings for British Columbia and Federal corporations, including extra-provincial registrations.
- Name Reservations: Conduct name reservations and renewals for British Columbia and Federal entities.
- Due Diligence Support: Assist with corporate and legal due diligence by coordinating searches such as corporate existence, PPSA, Bank Act, insolvency, and regulatory databases.
- Records Management: Handle physical and scanned minute books, manage returned annual reports, and ensure accurate filing with regulatory bodies.
- Communication: Send correspondence and assist with virtual and physical record-keeping.
Requirements:
- Education: Post-secondary education in legal administration or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years in a related role, such as an administrative assistant, junior legal assistant, or corporate services clerk.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office, with the ability to adapt to new tools and systems.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional proofreading, grammar, and attention to detail.
- Professionalism: Dependable, adaptable, and committed to providing excellent service.
Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
