Data Science Expert with X-Omics Specialization

We are seeking a Data Science Specialist at SarasCan Inc to lead our data analysis efforts in x-omics technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of Python programming, particularly within Linux-based High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
Key responsibilities include automating and managing computational workflows using workflow languages such as WDL, Nextflow, and/or Snakemake, tracking and managing code using Git for version control, and analyzing complex datasets to derive meaningful insights.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, proficiency in x-omics technologies, and excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Data Sciences, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Molecular Biology, or a related field is required. The successful candidate must possess expertise in Python, workflow languages, and Git, with a strong GitHub presence.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
