As a Business Development Manager in our Public Sector team, you'll play a critical role in establishing and nurturing relationships with government agencies and public sector organizations across Canada.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Cultivate lasting relationships with government entities and other public sector verticals in Canada.
- Develop and execute a territory plan focused on growth, including account engagement activities.
- Build a robust business pipeline through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, government regulations, and competitive offerings.
- Educate clients on how Salesforce solutions drive positive outcomes for citizens, patients, and employees.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs and work closely with account teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and collaborate with partners to expand Salesforce services.
- Engage proactively with the Salesforce partner ecosystem to bring innovative solutions to market.
- Maintain a high level of performance within the Salesforce High Performance Culture framework.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in full-cycle enterprise software or technology sales.
- A proven track record in account management, preferably within the Canadian Public Sector.
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
