About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Cook to join our team at Bento Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Assist in the preparation of Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi, and other dishes.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of roles and tasks, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
