Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC). As a Staff Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with the organization's Vision, Values, Ethics and Standards, as well as those of the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.

University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) is the largest Acute Care facility in the Northern Health region, providing specialized health services and serving as a teaching hospital. Our hospital has undergone significant expansions, renovations, and equipment upgrades since 2001, ensuring we provide state-of-the-art care to our patients.

Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to promote safe, competent, patient care
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the health care team
  • Ability to recognize and intervene appropriately in an emergency situation
Estimated Salary Range

$83,000 - $112,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
