Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at La Rozzi Bistro and Filipino Grocery Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, maintain accurate records, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Restaurant
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player
