About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to join our team at Niagara's Best Inn. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional cleaning services.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our hotel facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the cleaning team to ensure that all areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, reliability
