About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Assistant to join our team at RED LEAF CONCRETE INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and finishing of concrete and asphalt surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to achieve precise specifications
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring a safe and efficient process
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring a smooth and even surface
  • Pave and rake asphalt to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a tidy and organized work environment
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, ensuring a safe working area
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the smooth flow of traffic
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical demand
  • Willingness to travel regularly to various job sites
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Dependability, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
  • English language proficiency
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week
