Job Summary

The Manitoba Securities Commission is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Legal Assistant to provide reception and administrative support to the Finance, Legal, Education and Investigation areas of the Commission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process capital raising exemption reports, statistics and archiving
  • Provide administrative support with respect to providing service to the public and stakeholders
  • Ensure adequate administrative support with respect to providing service to the public and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • Experience providing legal, secretarial and administrative support with respect to both litigation and general legal matters
  • Effective oral communication skills in English and French
  • Excellent written communication skills in English and French
  • Extensive experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
