Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at ONTARIO INC. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality food services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining inventory and records. They will also be required to train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as order supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage kitchen operations, including coordinating special events, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as order supplies and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
- A minimum of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
- Basic security clearance.
- Fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
