Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Abby Country Motors Ltd.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport trucks, including systems, components, and accessories
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of truck-trailer systems, engines, transmissions, and other critical components
- Evaluate and estimate costs for repairs and maintenance, providing accurate quotes to clients
- Provide expert guidance and coaching to apprentices, ensuring they develop the necessary skills and knowledge
- Foster excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing concerns, and delivering high-quality results
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics, with a focus on commercial transport trucks
- Strong knowledge of engine repair, electrical systems, diagnostics, and other relevant areas
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver's license and own transportation
- A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
