Job Summary

The Procurement Manager will oversee daily operations, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in purchasing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Assess and manage daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and control budgets, monitoring expenditures to align with financial goals.
  • Process Improvement: Coordinate and streamline daily operational processes to meet organizational needs.
  • Purchasing and Procurement: Evaluate and verify purchase orders, claims, and contracts to ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and inspire team members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Purchasing Policy Development: Formulate, implement, and refine purchasing policies and procedures to optimize procurement practices.
  • Supplier Management: Supervise the assessment of costs and quality of goods and services to maintain high standards.
  • Dispute Resolution: Handle and resolve supplier claims and disputes, ensuring compliance and satisfaction.
  • Equipment and Material Procurement: Procure general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services in accordance with organizational needs.
  • Specification Development: Identify and document specifications for required equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions for purchases.
  • Contract Awarding: Award contracts to suitable vendors based on evaluation and negotiation outcomes.
  • Delivery Scheduling: Set and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Logistics Coordination: Monitor and track delivery progress to address any issues promptly.
  • Client and Supplier Liaison: Liaise with clients and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Operational Logistics: Oversee and coordinate the logistics of operations, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 5 years in purchasing
