Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Shiva Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, working as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer combination, performing routine checks and maintenance.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as required.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience with tractor-trailer combinations and heavy haulage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
