The Role: We are seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Global Finance Technology team.

About the Job

  • This role will focus on developing and supporting Oracle E-Biz suite applications, with integration to PeopleSoft GL and other third-party apps.
  • You will identify business requirements and align them to Financials Accounting Hub functionality.
  • Configuring and supporting Oracle E-Biz Financials Accounting Hub module based on requirements is a key responsibility.
  • Providing techno-functional application leadership and guidance on best practices and software modules' functionality throughout implementations is also required.
  • Working with business partners to develop business solution designs to meet business requirements is essential.
  • Identifying, writing, and managing business requirements, contributing to functional and technical design, prototyping, and process design stages of implementations is a must.
  • Supporting configurations, customization, reports, interfaces, testing, and user training is also a key part of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as an Oracle E-biz techno-functional consultant.
  • Must have experience as an Oracle EBS R12 Financials Functional and Technical (General Ledger, Financial Accounting Hub), SQL, PLSQL & Unix Shell Scripting.
  • OBIEE, Essbase, and Hyperion exposure is an asset.
  • Strong hands-on experience in implementation and support of Financial Accounting Hub applications.
  • Ability to write functional requirements, use cases, and other analysis/design artifacts effectively.
  • Experience with user interface and design.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed - works effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively work on multiple tasks.
  • Well organized, dependable, punctual, strong work ethic.
  • Fast learner and able to work to deadlines.
