Earning Potential

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role will also provide opportunities for profit-sharing, employee share ownership program (ESOP), RRSP matching after one year of employment, and a birthday day off.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Training Manager to oversee the training, coaching, and mentorship of new hires at our Distribution Center.

The successful candidate will ensure that training complies with DC process and health and safety guidelines, including reviewing procedures for each zone and equipment certification.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt teaching style to different learning styles.

Responsibilities
  • Lead by example with a safety-first attitude
  • Ensure accurate picking and receiving processes
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Teach, coach, and mentor new staff
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve distribution center objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • High school completion
  • Previous lead hand or training roles preferred
  • Forklift certification and train the trainer experience an asset
  • First Aid certificate and experience an asset
  • WHMIS certificate
  • Approachable demeanor and positive attitude
  • Comfortable with technology and able to learn new software programs
