Our mission is to deliver exceptional mental health services, and we are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Registered Psychotherapist - child therapy focused to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Psychotherapist to work with children and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Psychotherapy, be registered with the provincial licensing body, and have experience working with children. Empirically validated, trauma-informed practices and other evidence-based treatment modalities are essential. EMDR therapy experience is an asset, as is relevant working experience in trauma-related work.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children and their families
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and staff to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychotherapy
  • Registered with the provincial licensing body
  • Experience working with children
  • Empirically validated, trauma-informed practices and other evidence-based treatment modalities
  • EMDR therapy experience is an asset
  • Relevant working experience in trauma-related work is an asset
  • Professional Liability Insurance or willingness to obtain insurance
