Ultium CAM GP Inc. is a forward-thinking company that aims to shape the future of the cathode industry.

We are looking for an experienced Internal Control Analyst to join our team in Bécancour, Canada.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance or accounting and at least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.

As an Internal Control Analyst, you will actively collaborate with the Controller to define and strengthen the company's internal control environment and implement various controls.

You will participate in the implementation of internal controls on documentation and process flows, develop and execute detailed test plans to evaluate the effectiveness and compliance of accounting systems and controls, and perform regular audits and reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy and adherence to established standards.

In addition, you will periodically analyze the balance sheet and income statement accounts assigned to it, ensuring consistency of information and drawing up action plans to remedy inconsistencies.

You will also ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) and internal controls (SOX), by implementing best practices, coordinate the ICFR program and conduct independent reviews of the design and operational effectiveness of internal processes.

Furthermore, you will propose continuous improvement recommendations to strengthen operational processes and control environments and create and maintain detailed administrative procedures to standardize accounting processes and improve efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

  • University degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance or accounting, or any other relevant experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in auditing, internal controls (preferred)
  • CPA designation (preferred)
  • Experience in an accounting firm or assurance (an asset)
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector (an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOX, and office tools
  • Good knowledge of SAP
  • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
