About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join our team at TransForm Shared Service Organization. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of all policies, procedures, and system technologies related to provisioning access to systems and/or information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity and privacy service capabilities, strategies, and roadmaps to secure systems and reduce the risk of unplanned incidents.
  • Assess member security postures, identify gaps, develop mitigations, and implement security controls to meet risk tolerance.
  • Represent TransForm at Ontario Health security and privacy programs, sharing knowledge, capability, and support.
  • Manage third-party security partners, including the Managed Security Services Provider.
  • Lead technology implementation activities, managing project resources and work activities.
  • Work with the Change Advisory Board to review and approve technical change requests.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to assist in defining work assignments, system configuration, and issues investigation and escalation.
  • Work stream leadership on major projects or associate PM on small to medium complexity initiatives.
  • Coaching and mentoring of supporting staff.
  • Acting as MRP for assigned functional areas, assisting and supporting Account Managers.
  • Recruitment, training, performance management, day-to-day workload assignment prioritization, and scheduling.
  • Manage budgets for TransForm and OH programs.
  • Develop and maintain security plans in support of corporate information systems security strategy.
  • Communicate security awareness to TransForm staff and serve as an advisory role for hospitals.
  • Manage annual certification, assessment, and exemptions.
  • Maintain all security and privacy policies and standards.
  • Maintain TransForm's security risk model and advise members on their security risk record.
  • Advisory role on various regional and provincial working groups to encourage consistent privacy practices.
  • Develop and recommend policies that support patient privacy and corporate confidentiality.
  • Perform internal audit reviews of various technology policies and practices.
  • Oversight of core auditing solutions used by members.
  • Responsible for making technical investment recommendations.
  • Shared responsibility for technology change control.
  • Responsible for work assignments prioritization, scheduling, and issues management.
  • Shared responsibility for the upkeep and safeguarding of production systems.
  • Responsible for delivery of assigned project roles.

Requirements:

  • Three-year University Degree or Community College diploma in Information Technology or equivalent work experience and certifications.
  • Minimum six to ten years of experience in supporting technology solutions and/or services in a complex IT environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent computer security certification.
  • Healthcare IT-related experience an asset.
  • Experience in leading or participating in large-scale technology implementation projects.
  • Experience in providing wide-scale technology support services.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
