We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Banking Associate to join our dynamic team in Toronto. Located at Yonge and St. Clair, our office is the perfect place for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Overview

The Private Equity Associate role is an exciting opportunity to support the investment process and work alongside seasoned investment professionals. As part of our team, you will source and diligence investment opportunities, execute investment plans, and conduct valuation analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research and evaluation of industry sectors, public securities, and private companies.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models, industry overviews, and expected return scenarios.
  • Present findings to senior personnel and contribute to investment decision-making.
  • Perform due diligence tasks, including assessing industry structure, company performance, and management team quality.
  • Monitor portfolio investments and prepare regular financial performance reports.
  • Apply best practices to improve information gathering and knowledge management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of applied investment and valuation analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with a proven track record of success.
What We Offer:
