Job Description:

As a Construction Project Superintendent with GDB Constructeurs, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our construction sites. This includes coordinating subcontractors' activities, evaluating daily operations, and planning and organizing daily operations. You will also be responsible for reading blueprints, schemas, and drawings, as well as developing risk management plans. Additionally, you will supervise a team of 1 to 20 people, depending on the project requirements. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all team members have the necessary computer and technology skills, including MS Office and MS Outlook. You will also be responsible for managing the area of specialization, which includes marine construction. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all team members have the necessary security and safety clearance, including basic security clearance. You will also be responsible for managing the transportation/travel information, including a valid driver's license. You will also be responsible for managing the own tools/equipment, including steel-toed safety boots. You will also be responsible for managing the experience, which includes 5 years or more of experience in the field. You will also be responsible for managing the work setting, which includes civil construction. You will also be responsible for managing the work site environment, which includes outdoors. You will also be responsible for managing the tasks, which includes coordinating subcontractors' activities, evaluating daily operations, planning and organizing daily operations, reading blueprints, schemas, and drawings, developing risk management plans, supervising a team of 1 to 20 people, ensuring that all team members have the necessary computer and technology skills, managing the area of specialization, ensuring that all team members have the necessary security and safety clearance, managing the transportation/travel information, managing the own tools/equipment, and managing the experience.

Requirements:

• 5 years or more of experience in the field
• Civil construction experience
• Marine construction experience
• Basic security clearance
• Valid driver's license
• Steel-toed safety boots
• MS Office and MS Outlook skills
• Ability to supervise a team of 1 to 20 people
• Ability to read blueprints, schemas, and drawings
• Ability to develop risk management plans
• Ability to manage the area of specialization
• Ability to ensure that all team members have the necessary security and safety clearance
• Ability to manage the transportation/travel information
• Ability to manage the own tools/equipment
• Ability to manage the experience
