Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Northern Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and caring environment, providing high-quality patient care to clients in our community-based settings. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate LPN to join our team, bringing their skills and experience to support our clients in achieving optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to clients in accordance with their individualized care plans, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate client outcomes, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based practice.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring the continuous improvement of our services.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • One year of recent, related acute care or residential experience.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in the clinical specialty or patient population, dependent on the nature of the caseload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to operate related equipment, including proficiency in relevant computer applications.
