We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor Lead to join the team at Indian Hut. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Job Description:
- Job Summary
The Restaurant Supervisor Lead will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food. You will establish methods to meet work schedules, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Main Responsibilities

You will supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food. This includes establishing methods to meet work schedules, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Food Quality Control
You will be responsible for ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and addressing customer complaints or concerns.
- Staff Training and Development
You will train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and Indigenous workers.
- Record Keeping
You will maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Work Term and Language
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
Requirements:
- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
