Senior Financial Reporting and FP&A Specialist

We are seeking a highly-skilled Senior Financial Reporting and FP&A Specialist to join our finance team at pt Health in North York, Ontario. This is a hybrid position (3 days per week in office at our office location and 2 days remote).
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong analytical and communication skills to play a key role in driving accurate financial reporting and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the monthly/quarterly/annual close process by ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting to support internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses and reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and quality period-end Management reporting and provide variance analyses against forecast, plan and prior year for Senior Management, Operations and Clinics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (within and outside of Finance) to address any discrepancies and streamline reporting processes, as well as to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis.
- Weekly analysis and insight of revenue trends
- Regular analysis of hourly, salary, fee for service and indirect labour costs by clinic for cost-savings opportunities or capacity underutilization
- Analyze/create business case models for new revenue and labour initiatives and quantify the financial impact to aid in decision making within the organization
- Serve as a finance business partner to clinics across Canada, providing guidance and support to ensure financial goals are met.
- Participate in the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:- CPA, CA, or other accounting/professional designation, or working towards such designation
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong sense of ownership to meet commitments and deadlines.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, manipulating large volumes of data).
