The successful Lead Surveyor will be responsible for collaborating with the Senior Surveyor and Civil Earthworks Supervisor to daily scope work assignments, providing cut and fill stakes for earthworks activities, and conducting daily as-built surveys to maintain updated surface data. The role also involves performing weekly and monthly as-built surveys for volume tracking, carrying out weekly prism monitoring using a total station, and computing as-built and design surfaces for volumetric reporting.

Key qualifications for this position include six years' experience in surveying in open pit mining, a Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Mine Engineering, or a related field, and proficiency in using surveying instruments and related software. An advanced RPAS Pilot's License is required, with experience with DJI and TBC being considered an asset.

Estimated annual earnings range from $146,068.00, based on regular hourly rate of $53 and overtime rate of $79.50.
