About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Deli City Cafe & Catering. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for food preparation.
