About the Role

">

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager for Operational Excellence to join our growing team. As a key member of our Commercial Lines-Specialty Solutions (CL-SL Ops & Planning) team, you will oversee a group of Business Analysts and/or Product Owners, driving their professional development and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Identify and develop talent, manage performance, and foster continuous improvement processes to ensure the most efficient use of analysis tools, resources, and practices.">
  • Encourage and support the career development of the team by identifying training and mentorship opportunities, including Agile, requirements gathering, and analysis, business processes, and best practices.">
  • Maintain the team's capacity plan in a proactive and efficient manner and continuously seek solutions to achieve objectives, meet priorities, and support our organization's roadmap.">
  • Collaborate and build partnerships with stakeholders, including individuals in Corporate UW, Actuarial, Distribution, and IT.">
  • Lead, define, negotiate, communicate, and monitor assigned projects, working closely with other business stakeholders to propose solutions and meet department needs and objectives.">
  • Work closely with your manager to assess and prioritize new requests.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • You have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of management experience and 3+ years of Lead/Senior BA/Product Owner experience.">
  • Strong people leadership skills, including the ability to engage, motivate, and coach staff.">
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and relationship building skills, demonstrated experience managing internal and external clients.">
  • You have strong business, strategic, and financial acumen and understand how pieces fit together.">
  • You forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and can work with all levels from individual contributor to executive, and from different areas of the business.">
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable giving presentations to employees and executives alike.">
  • You are experienced in operational change management, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware and prepared for upcoming changes.">
  • Strong knowledge of Business Analysis, Product Owner, and Agile best practices.">
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and perform well under pressure.">
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required, considering the necessity to interact regularly with English-speaking colleagues across the country.">
  • No Canadian work experience is required, but you must be eligible to work in Canada.">
