Brandt seeks a Senior Sales Director to lead its pipeline sales efforts in the Alberta region, reporting to Edmonton or Calgary.

This role requires expertise in the pipeline space, with a deep understanding of the market and its players. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with key customers and industry insiders, develop sales and support programs, and increase customer confidence in Brandt as a preferred supplier/solution provider.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Market Share Growth: Achieve long-term market share growth goals for Brandt.
  • Asset Management: Achieve asset management goals for inventory turn and minimize aging.
  • Inventory Feedback: Provide input on standardized build codes for inventory products and detailed feedback on required inventory levels.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide feedback and input for future opportunities with respect to competitive pressures.
  • Telematic and Machine Monitoring: Understand, promote, and sell telematic and machine monitoring capabilities.
  • Competitive Quotes: Assist and evaluate competitive quotes and pricing to drive market intelligence and increase share margins.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute effective sales and marketing programs.
  • Regional Collaboration: Work in conjunction with regional Brandt sales teams to build relationships with customers, develop multi-level sales strategies, and provide mentorship and guidance.
  • Team Development: Assist in the development of all employees within the area of responsibility.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales growth and develop new opportunities in the pipeline industry.
  • Travel: Extensive travel within the assigned area of responsibility, with possible international travel.
  • Customer Understanding: Understand customer organization charts and unique market challenges and opportunities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Increase knowledge of the pipeline industry customer purchasing strategies, multi-year budgeting process (CAPEX/OPEX), and general market trends.
  • Product Development: Provide feedback to Brandt Product Support and Brandt Engineered Products to assist in the development of attachments and other products.
  • Brandt/Deere Collaboration: Participate in Brandt/Deere CAG initiatives.
