Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products, including duct systems, prefabricated fibreglass elements, and water evacuation systems for buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate heating and cooling loads
  • Design duct systems
  • Manufacture and assemble different prefabricated fibreglass elements
  • Manufacture and assemble water evacuation systems for buildings
  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Select equipment for residential and small commercial construction
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to template
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
  • Operate laser cutters
  • Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces
  • Schedule work
  • Develop computerized pattern and layout
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Supervise other workers
  • Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment
