Job Title: Family Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Aggarwal and Associates Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed. They will also work closely with other medical professionals to evaluate patients' physical and mental health, prescribe and administer medications, and provide emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals
  • Examine patients' health condition to identify diseases and injuries
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment
  • Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
  • Provide acute care management and emergency care
  • Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
Requirements:
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and combining sitting, standing, and walking. They will also work under pressure and require accurate, client-focused, and dependable skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English, with a 30 to 48 hour workweek.
