Job Description:
A captivating opportunity has arisen for a skilled and dedicated professional to join the Alzheimer Society of B.C. as a Provincial Coordinator, Health-Care Community of Practice. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for the health-care provider community of practice, ensuring continuous learning and peer support programs for workers in long-term care.

About the Position:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing educational programs, particularly in online formats, to support professional development and peer collaboration. They will also coordinate phone and email support to program trainees, collaborate with Health-Care Provider Education Master Trainers to align program deliverables with training goals, and develop systems for measuring engagement and utilization of the community of practice deliverables.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the health-care provider community of practice
• Coordinate phone and email support to program trainees
• Collaborate with Health-Care Provider Education Master Trainers to ensure alignment between program deliverables and training goals
• Develop systems for measuring engagement and utilization of the community of practice deliverables

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education or relevant degree in public health, education, gerontology, social work, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of experience designing and developing online learning and training programs, preferably in a non-profit or health-oriented environment
• Experience working with people living with dementia or older adults in a non-profit environment is preferred
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel
