Job Summary:

A part-time truck driver opportunity is available at CB Canada. As a part-time truck driver, you will be responsible for delivering and returning vehicles to CB Canada locations and customers. This role may also involve assisting the service department with delivering parts and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, 2+ years of verifiable driving experience, and a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow safety procedures while driving trucks to destination

• Check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order

• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required

• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles

Requirements:

• 2+ years of verifiable driving experience

• 2+ years of a clean driving record

• Current driver's license class D or class 3 with air brake certification

• Ability to read and write in English (French) as well as follow written instructions

• Ability to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude

Physical Demands:

The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25/lbs12kg, frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs/ 23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; sit and talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
