About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Permit Clerk to join our team at the Kawartha Region Conservation Authority. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of permits and licenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile, verify, record, and process applications, licenses, permits, contracts, registrations, requisitions, and other forms and documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of material for publication, including writing routine business and government correspondence.
  • Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, and resolve conflict situations.
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our permit management system.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write business and government correspondence.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
