Job Summary

Vantage Event Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the vehicle, including regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Transport Goods: Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations in a professional and safe manner.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
