Job Overview
The Clinical Aide is an integral part of our clinical team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and executing on the organization's strategic objectives related to clinic operations. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet and register patients efficiently
• Initiate forms, create billings, and collect payment for uninsured services
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for physician consultations
• Assist with minor surgical procedures, pelvic examinations/IUDs, and diagnostic testing as ordered by physicians
• Perform COVID-19 rapid antigen testing for symptomatic and asymptomatic patients
• Carry out various care interventions and medical procedures within the designated scope of practice
• Maintain accurate patient charts and follow standards of cleanliness and safety
• Schedule appointments and notify patients accordingly
• Scan patient documents as required
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly chore lists
• Understand physician profiles and execute requests to support physicians effectively
• Participate in company initiatives and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
• Medical degree from a recognized institution listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools
• Successful completion of the MCCEE or MCCQE 1/MCCQE2 examination
• Experience with Med Access software is preferred
• Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
• Strong clinical and customer service, as well as organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with relevant provincial privacy legislation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and CPR – Health Care Provider BLS certification

Working Environment
This role requires working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, balancing multiple tasks, and adapting to flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends. The successful candidate must be able to stand for prolonged periods and maintain a high level of energy throughout their shift.
