Administrative Support Specialist

At Canada Inc., we are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our employees and management team. Your duties will include supervising other workers, training other workers, and recording and preparing minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train other workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to ensure that all decisions and actions are documented.
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for employees and management team members.
- Manage contracts and agreements to ensure that they are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages to ensure that employees and management team members are informed of important updates and information.
- Answer electronic enquiries and respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions and initiatives.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Judgement and decision-making skills to ensure that decisions are made in the best interest of the company.
- Organized and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Team player with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Client focus with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Reliability and dependability to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Relocation costs covered by employer.
- 40 hours per week.
- Work Term: Permanent.
