About the Role

Chef Tian's Restaurant is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all ingredients are properly labeled and stored.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of vegetables and fruits, and help to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain other kitchen equipment to ensure that they are in good working order.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
