Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway - Edmonton. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, and ensuring that stock is properly stored and rotated.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
