About the Role

At Daveenah Lifestyle Inc., we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Garment Craftsman to join our team. This is a permanent position that requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Job Description

This role involves creating made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, altering, and repairing garments as required. They must be proficient in operating sewing machines or sewing by hand, selecting and modifying commercial patterns, designing patterns to fit measurements, marking, cutting, and sewing fabric.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make high-quality, bespoke garments according to client and production requirements
  • Fitting, alteration, and repair of garments as needed
  • Operate industrial sewing equipment or perform hand-sewing tasks
  • Select and adapt commercial patterns to meet customer needs and quality standards
  • Create custom patterns based on client measurements
  • Cut and sew fabrics with precision and accuracy
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and have at least 7 months of experience in garment crafting. You should also be able to pass a criminal record check and demonstrate excellent physical capabilities, including manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and color recognition.

Benefits and Compensation
