Nursing Care Support Worker Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Care Support Worker to join our team at PeopleCare Communities Inc. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment as needed
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed staff
  • Document resident care and progress in accordance with company policies
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Tuberculosis test
