Job Description

The Youth Program Manager - Early Childhood Education will oversee the out-of-school care program at Yellowknife Catholic Schools, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for students aged 4 to 12.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Management: Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that align with early childhood education theories and regulations.
  2. Staff Supervision: Lead and mentor staff members to deliver high-quality care and services.
  3. Child Safety and Well-being: Maintain a safe and healthy environment, promoting children's physical, emotional, and social development.
Requirements
  1. Education: Minimum three years of experience in childcare or family day care.
  2. Knowledge: Familiarity with the Early Childhood Act and Regulations, as well as early childhood education theories.
  3. Skills: Strong program management skills, including budgeting and evaluation.
