Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team. This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week with English as the primary work language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new administrative procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Review and evaluate existing procedures to ensure they meet organizational needs.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
  • Carry out various administrative activities related to establishment operations.
  • Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assist in preparing the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Perform data entry tasks.
  • Train staff members.
  • Oversight and coordination of office administrative procedures.
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
  • Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Our organization values its employees and provides a supportive work environment.
