About the Role

Maison Canada Holdings Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Design Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, preparing design, drawings and specifications, and designing tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare design, drawings and specifications for mechanical systems and components.
  • Design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures to support production and manufacturing processes.
  • Carry out limited mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials to ensure quality and performance.
  • Supervise maintenance programs and operation of mechanical plants to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
  • High level of proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other mechanical engineering tools.
